Sorry for the lack of updates. I got a new computer and so I had to start fresh with everything. I had to install ALL the programs over...had to reset all my settings and preferences for each program. It's a real pain! But I needed a new computer so I had to do it. My old Gateway was like about eleven years old, haha. My new XION should last at least that long too, hopefully. Yay! Faster CPU, better graphics, larger memory...I'm gonna enjoy it!

Added one more page today. That leads us to the conclusion of Chapter Three!
Starting Chapter Four, as previously announced, the story will be going forward in full color. I'm planning on a slight change in art style and revamping the character gallery. With that said, it may take me a few weeks to get everything together. Enjoy and see everyone again soon.

One more new page is up! I'm pretty proud of myself for keeping up on the updates. Right now, I'm really motivated because I want to move onto chapter four and start coloring. I'm excited!!! :)

I have two new pages! The story is now moving again. I'll try to keep it up. Youmacon is coming up Nov.2-4, it's my 2nd year going. It will be fun!

Finally, a new page! Four more pages til the end of Chapter Three. Yay! Hopefully, I can complete it before the year is over. And then, I've decided to go full color in Chapter Four! It's a big step. But I think that I'm more confident with my coloring skills now so I'm gonna go for it.

August 2007 is here and this is the 2nd anniversary year of Sylentwhysper.com and Heaven's Garden. In celebration, six brand new pages are up. Even though I didn't update new pages since last December, I still received awesome support from everyone out there...so, I just wanna say THANK YOU SO MUCH. ^______________^

New layout as you can see. The site looks 'pretty' in pink and purple. We'll see how long that lasts. Well, looks like I don't have any new pages yet. I am slowly getting back into the updating mode. Sorry for the long wait.
Other news? Okay, actually, I've been working on furthuring the plot on the written script of Heaven's Garden. I haven't written the ending yet and I'm trying to get there. Sorry, that doesn't really help because no one can read the script, hehe.

Wow, the last update was quite awhile ago. I am taking a break from Heaven's Garden to work on a short story. I should complete it by mid March. After that, I will continue updating HG again.

Hi all, two new pages today. But I think my pen/stylus is breaking down on me...it doesn't draw quite the same as before. Maybe I can adjust the softness and play with the brushes. If that doesn't work, I'm gonna have to order a new one since I plan to do a lot more with the comic in the near future.

Contest Rules:
Draw and color one of my characters from my the manga. There's a few, so pick one you are comfortable with. List of characters
can be found in the characters gallery.
Physical attributes of the characters like hair style, hair color and
eye color should be maintained and be recognizable on the character.
Everything else like clothes, pose, background can be of your own
making. Background is not a requirement, but it will give you a better
chance at winning. Even if it's just a solid color or textured
background, it completes the picture. All drawing styles are welcome!
One entry per person. There must be a total of at least five entries
for the contest to be valid. So spread the word a little. To enter,
just e-mail me with 'HG Contest' in the subject line and attach your entry.
Prize:
There will be one grand prize. The prize is a $20 gift card to discountanimedvd.com. If you haven't been to discountanimedvd.com before, they offer a ton
of things for very decent prices, including domestic and import anime
dvds, anime soundtracks, manga and graphic novels, anime goods like

So I'm in the midst of moving...and that means I won't have time to update the manga for a couple of weeks.

And here we have the new site layout as promised. It's a little more of a refined look. Simple and clean. We actually now have a 'Title' bar, introducing to newcomers the name of the manga and the site name. We didn't have that before.
The darker gray boxes above and below this box will be filled later with animations and banners. This is it for now.

Chapter Three, pg. 9 is now up. Moving at a slow pace but at least still moving.
Not many other updates. I'm hoping to finish up Chapter Three before the winter holidays, because I wanna start out the new year with a new chapter. We'll get there soon.
I'm also thinking of a new layout too for the site. Yeah, I'm always changing the layout, hehe. For some reason I enjoy it, haha.

I also want to mention that August is the anniversary launch of this site. So happy birthday to sylentwhysper.com!!! Whoopi!!! I only had ten pages of the manga up at this time last year, and now, we're in chapter three! I actually didn't realize that I've come this far, until I thought about how much is here compared to the previous year.

Two new pages added today! I'm working on a new wallpaper that will be featuring an upcoming new character. Her name is Victori. She's a graceful but fierce Angel supporting the humans. Victori will be appearing towards the end of this current chapter.
I'll try to keep the updates coming regularly. After such a long time, I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed making this comic. See everyone again soon.

Unfortunately, I only got one page done for the week. I was really hoping for more but this was all I could do. But one page is one page, so I'm happy about it as well. The next page is half done, so it will be real soon before the next update.

I'm excited to announce that I have two new pages. After such a long break I should have more, but hopefully I will be able to update more frequently.
I will be off from work for a week and half in the beginning of July. I want to get more pages done then, maybe at least ten pages so we can move closer to the end of chapter three. I can't wait to start drawing Lezarr again and have him in the story. When I wrote the story, I didn't realize how long he would be away from the plot. But he'll get his time too later on, while Srenna sits on the shelf.

I wanted to refresh the site, so here's the new layout and new background. I hope you all like it. I'm very sorry for not updating the comic in such a long time. It's always on my mind, but I'm struggling a bit with confidence.
Recently, I haven't been happy with my art. It never turns out they way I have it in my imagination, and I'm disappointed in my skills.
My best comes out when I'm at a dead end, though. So maybe, if I push myself into a corner, I just might be able to find a secret door.

Did I promise new pages weeks ago? Okay, I apologize for being late, so please forgive. These new pages are heavy on toning...I'm gonna try to use tones more to give the comic a little more depth. Hope you will like it. I did not make the tones myself, but I give credit to whoever did. Thank you.

Sorry to say I haven't been working especially hard on the manga. Motivation is hard to find these days. It comes and goes quite randomly. But, anyways, I've managed to come up with two new pages. Please enjoy them! More pages are scheduled for next week and we will be ending Chapter Two.

Hi Everyone! I haven't updated in a whole month, that's sad :( Lezarr is threatening to quit but I told him it's not because I was lazy or anything, it's because I've been working up an online portfolio of all my collective art. The new site will showcase who I am as an artist...I'm not just a manga/comic creator. I can draw other things too. An online portfolio will provide an opportunity for me to get comissioned (money for doing something I enjoy, WOOHOO!) and grow my fan base.
But this week, I'm off work. Taking a little 10 day break, and so, I shall be working on new pages for Heaven's Garden, Yayyyyyyyyyy!!! I'm planning to finish up Chapt. 2 and maybe layout the beginning of Chapt. 3...

Unfortunately, I have no new pages to add to the comic. Been busy with Christmas and everything. But I will be taking two weeks off in January and plan to dedicate my time to moving the manga along, creating new art and also, I plan to start a new short comic in full color. Yeah, quite ambitious, aren't I, hehe.
I did update the Cast of Characters below. Added the little cherub girls, Jasmine and Pearl. Other than that, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! Enjoy all your presents, hope you will get everything you asked for, I know I didn't.

Two new pages up! Chapter Two, pages 16 and 17. We are getting closer and closer to the end of Chapter Two. The 'dream' is almost over...! We haven't seen Lezarr for quite awhile, and although we will meet three new characters in Chapter Three, will won't meet Lezarr again until Chapter Four.
Be patient, dears, because we still have to find out where exactly is Srenna at this point. What really happened to her and how is she gonna get back?

Two new pages up (Chapter Two, pg. 14 & 15)! Enjoy! Thanks to everyone who's been faithfully keeping up with the story. We will be entering the next Chapter soon. About seven more pages, which isn't that long into the future.
I've been thinking about starting to screentone the comic in chapter three. I've used a little bit here and there for special effects in the previous pages and I think it's pretty cool. But screentoning might slow down updates since it's more work. I'll give it some more thought.
